Durham Cathedral

Durham Castle

Founded in 1072 by William the Conqueror shortly after his Battle of Hastings victory. This is both a UNESCO site of world wide historical importance and a beautifully preserved castle.

Boating

Whether it be in on a guided cruise or by hired rowing boat, the River Wear is an amazing way to see the sights that Durham has to offer.
