We are inviting those from across our communities to vote for applications shortlisted as part of our Transform grant scheme.
A total of £50k is available to support projects across the North and into Scotland which tackle youth unemployment, promote social inclusion and improve the environment.
In a first for the annual grant scheme, we are inviting customers from towns and cities across its network to select which initiatives they think should receive funding from a shortlisted list of 24.
Votes can be registered online at: www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/TPETransformVote2018
This year we received a total of 114 applications for funding, requesting in excess of £450,000.
Charlie French from TransPennine Express commented; “We would like to thank all of the charities and community groups that submitted applications as part of this year’s Transform scheme.
“We have a total of £50k of funding available and want our customers and communities to help decide which projects this money should go to. I would encourage people to spare a few moments of their time to go online and vote using the link provided.”
Voting is now open and the closing date for entries is 31st December 2018.
The winners will be announced in January 2019.
