Services that would normally run between Manchester, Leeds, York & Selby will be affected by Transpennine Route Upgrade improvement works. Services may be diverted and will be running to an amended timetable. Rail replacement buses will also be in place. Customers are advised to check before they travel.
Services will be diverted between Manchester Victoria - Dewsbury & Leeds - York, increasing journey times
Liverpool – Newcastle services will call additionally at Lea Green, Brighouse and Dewsbury
Redcar Central – Manchester Airport services will run Redcar Central to York only
Liverpool - Hull will run between Leeds and Hull only
Manchester to Scarborough services:
Manchester Piccadilly – York via Castleford services will be split to run Manchester Piccadilly - Marsden and Wakefield Kirkgate - York (on Saturday services from Stalybridge extend from Manchester Piccadilly to Manchester Airport calling additionally at Manchester Oxford Road and Manchester Victoria)
Manchester Piccadilly – Leeds peak additional services are cancelled
Additional service on Saturday: Manchester Airport to Stalybridge calling at Manchester Piccadilly, Manchester Oxford Road and Manchester Victoria.

Due to engineering improvement works, the railway will be closed between Carlisle and Glasgow Central.
TransPennine Express services will not operate between Carlisle and Edinburgh. The Glasgow to Edinburgh shuttle will also be suspended, and all services from Liverpool will terminate at Preston.
