Edinburgh Airport is the busiest airport in Scotland, with 12 million passengers flying from it every year. You can get to Edinburgh Airport on the train to Haymarket or Edinburgh Gateway, followed by a tram to the airport.

How long it takes to get to Edinburgh Airport will depend on where you’re travelling from. The Newcastle to Edinburgh train has a journey time of an hour and a half, with the additional journey to the airport. A train journey from Dundee to Edinburgh takes just over an hour, plus the trip on the tram.
