Northallerton bus station is located just a short walk from the train station for onward travel in and around the area. For shorter journeys there is a taxi rank just outside the train station.
Northallerton is one of the largest towns in North Yorkshire. It is located between the Yorkshire Dales and the North York Moors, making it the perfect location to get out and explore the very best of the Yorkshire countryside. It is just over 30 miles north of York.
Trains from York take around 20 minutes, whilst those from Darlington have a journey time of just 10 minutes.
