Selby station is around one mile from Selby town centre. You can hop on a bus to the town centre from right outside the station – either the 405 or the X45. You’ll also find a taxi rank outside too for onward journeys in the surrounding area.
The Leeds to Selby train has a journey time of around 20 minutes, whilst the journey from York takes around half an hour. If you’re travelling from Manchester Victoria to Selby, you can expect to be on the train for 1 hour and 25 minutes. The Hull to Selby train takes half an hour, as does the train from York.

With trains to Selby from York taking just 30 minutes and those from Leeds having a journey time of 20 minutes, it’s the perfect location to explore North Yorkshire.
