Stalybridge is well linked to nearby Manchester, with trains from Manchester to Stalybridge running from both Manchester Piccadilly and Manchester Victoria. When you arrive into Stalybridge station, you can pick up local buses from outside the station, whilst the nearest taxi rank is on Rassbottom Street close by.
Trains from Leeds to Stalybridge have a journey time of just over 45 minutes. If you’re travelling from Manchester, trains from Manchester Piccadilly to Stalybridge take 15 minutes whilst those from Victoria have a journey time of 10 minutes. The journey from Huddersfield to Stalybridge will take you around half an hour.

Stalybridge is a town in Tameside in Greater Manchester, around 8 miles from Manchester city centre. It became famous as one of the first centres of textile manufacturing during the Industrial Revolution.
Today, it is a picturesque place to visit with plenty of green open space at Stamford Park, Cheetham Park and Stalybridge Country Park. You can enjoy canal walks along Huddersfield Canal, whilst the town is also famed for its lively nightlife.
