The new 16–17 Saver gives all 16 and 17 year olds up to 50% off National Rail fares.
The 16–17 Saver costs £30 and can be bought on the Saver website.
The 16–17 Saver is valid for one year or until the holder's 18th birthday, whichever comes first.
The 16–17 Saver is valid on standard class fares in England, Wales and into Scotland. It cannot be used on ScotRail and Caledonian Sleeper.
The 16–17 Saver can be used to purchase standard season, anytime, off-peak and advance tickets (National Rail only).
It is designed to enable 16 and 17 year olds to access the same half price child fares that they could access until they were 16.
