Weekday travel can be made from 09:30am and weekend or Bank Holiday travel at any time. You'll have a return ticket, so you can return any time within one month of your outgoing journey (as long as it's after 09:30am on a weekday).

If the train that you were intending to travel on is cancelled or you are unable to complete your journey, then you can apply for a refund or change your journey free of charge.

• This promotion is open to anyone aged 55 years or over at the time they are travelling. Proof of age (valid photo ID) must be available at the time of travelling 
• Tickets are available for outward travel on dates between Tuesday 25th February 2025 and runs until Friday 4th April 2025 (inclusive). Return journeys must be made within one calendar month of the outward date on the ticket
• Tickets are valid for journeys that are wholly on TransPennine Express services. They are available in both First and Standard class and are valid for travel on any TransPennine Express services timed to depart at or after 09:30 Monday to Friday and at any time on weekends
• Tickets are priced at £45 First Class and £25 Standard Class
• Club 55 fares are not available on shorter journeys where the ordinary fare on that journey is below the Club 55 fixed price promotion fare
• Journeys to and from Manchester Airport are not included in the promotion
• No reservation needed 
• Railcard discounts are not available
